デザインを描いてすじ彫りへ
今回は所謂、クローンエフェクターのアルミケースに彫金です、
イングヴェイ・マルムスティーンのデザインイメージでセヴンス・サインのアルバムジャケットが
思い浮かんだのでこの顔をメインとしてデザインを組み立てていきます。
デザインのバランスとして文字が欲しかったので「Rising Force」と入れました、
その他の部分はバロック風のスクロールとか翼を入れてみました。
細かいデザインはその場の雰囲気で彫りながら考えることとします。。。

The design image of Yngwie Malmsteen reminded me of the album cover of Seventh Sign, so I'm using this face as the main focus of the design.
I wanted some text to balance the design, so I wrote "Rising Force", and I tried using baroque scrolls and wings for the other parts.
I'll think about the details of the design as I carve, depending on the atmosphere of the moment. …
Adjusting the outline and inlaying the brass.
アウトラインを整えて、真鍮の象嵌
メインの顔の部分は彫り下げではなく線で行い、空白部分が寂しかったので象嵌と波紋を入れました。
約2mmほどの厚みがある素材でしたので1mmの真鍮プレートを象嵌しています、
スクロール部分はアウトラインを太く彫り全体の統一感を出していきます、
ひき肉のような安価なアルミ素材の為、防ぐことができない不慮のチッピングが数か所ありますが
サンディングである程度整えてアンティーク調に仕上げていきます。

The main face part was done with lines rather than carved, and the blank areas looked lonely so I added inlay and ripples.
The material was about 2mm thick so a 1mm brass plate was inlaid, and the scroll part had a thick outline carved to give the whole piece a unified look.
Because it is a cheap aluminum material like minced meat, there are a few places where accidental chipping cannot be prevented, but I will sand it down to some extent and finish it in an antique style.

墨入れ、仕上げへ
濃いブラックで墨入れを行い、粗目でヘアラインをつけて極細めでくすませて仕上げます、
ハンドメイドのシルバーアクセサリーのような味のある雰囲気を意識しました、
これから内部の基盤を組み立てて組み込んで完成です。
