デザインを書いてすじ彫りへ
今回はハーレーダビッドソン、ツインカムのダービーカバーです、
鷲をメインに「SCREAMIN EAGLE」の文字をレイアウトしました。
文字以外は左右対称の予定でしたので今回は半分手書きで書いて、デジタルで残りを仕上げています。
下書きから顔の部分を少し修正して早速すじ彫りを行っていきます。。

This time it's a Harley-Davidson, twin cam derby cover.
The letters "SCREAMIN EAGLE" are laid out with the eagle as the main character.
Except for the letters, it was planned to be symmetrical, so this time I wrote half by hand and finished the rest digitally.
From the draft, I will make some minor adjustments to the face and start carving the lines immediately. .
From finishing engraving to inking.
彫りの仕上げから墨入れへ
足の周りを1段深く彫り込み、細かな線の強弱を調整して墨入れ工程へ、
50%位の濃さで浅めに薄く墨入れを行いました。
今回は羽根、サークル部分にヘアラインで模様を付けて仕上げます、
こうする事で光に反射して金属特有のキラキラした表情が生まれます。
墨入れと交互に行って表情を付けていき、最後にルーターでサークル枠、爪、文字部分を
軽く鏡面にポリッシュして仕上げで完成です。

I did a shallow and thin inking with a density of about 50%.
This time, finish by adding a hairline pattern to the wings and circles.
By doing this, it reflects the light and creates a glittering expression peculiar to metal.
Alternate with inking to add facial expressions, and finally use a router to add circle frames, nails, and lettering.
Lightly polish to a mirror surface to finish.
